Inside and outside the classroom, students will be immersed in real world experiences and
hands-on training through our partnerships with healthcare clinics and facilities. Students will
help organize community health events that will include resources and programming for
improving health in neighboring communities. These experiences will allow students to develop
and refine their critical thinking skills. Mastering these skills will allow them to enter any rigorous
healthcare program with an advantage. The program will also facilitate the opportunity to obtain
professional certificates including certified nursing assistant, phlebotomist, CPR, and others that
will give them a lead as they pursue their career in healthcare.
