Principal Ifiok Udoh M. Ed

We are delighted to introduce our Principal Mr. Ifiok Udoh, a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in educational leadership. Mr. Udoh has previously served in roles such as Vice Principal, Principal, and Dean of Students, showcasing a strong background in guiding and shaping school environments. To help you familiarize yourself with Mr. Udoh, here's a brief bio: Before joining SFA Academy, Mr. Udoh contributed significantly to the field of education at Auburn University/A&M University, where he held the position of Urban Youth and Development Agent. In this role, he managed over 400 schools, overseeing the delivery of STREAM and Agricultural programs. Mr. Udoh holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Education and Social Work from the University of North Texas (UNT). Continuing his educational journey, he earned a Master of Education with a focus on Educational Leadership and Curriculum, Assessment, and Development from Strayer University. Throughout his career, Mr. Udoh has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and holds several certifications in crucial areas, including Child Growth and Development, Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect, as well as Health, Safety, and Nutrition. His expertise also includes Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training, acquired during his tenure as a Behavioral Specialist Distinguished as a Certified National and International Education Consultant, Mr. Udoh has worked with and instructed administrators, principals, and teachers on various curriculum strategies. His keen insights extend to identifying and addressing curriculum issues at both district and classroom levels, providing valuable suggestions for improvement. With a strong foundation in education, social work, and leadership, Mr. Udoh is well-equipped to contribute to the continued success of SFA Academy. SFA provides a unique learning environment with smaller class sizes. In addition to receiving a traditional diploma, students have an opportunity to receive various professional certificates with on- the- job training. Our goal is to ensure students are successful after graduating from our program. While we encourage students to go to college, we also understand that college may not be the best fit for everyone.This is why we provide additional training opportunities and job skill development as part of our curriculum to ensure everyone has a successful career once they graduate. SFA uses the Bob Jones Curriculum in its classrooms. SFA has a clear vision for our students. Academic progress, Character Development, Community Engagement and Talent.

Teachers
All full time teachers must have earned a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. They must be certified either by the State of Florida or by SFA accrediting agency, which is recognized by the Florida Department of Education. SFA seeks experienced professionals who are dedicated to the highest quality of classroom learning.

Proof of Qualifications for all instructional personnel in accordance with Section 1002.421(1)(h),
Florida Statutes. Our teachers have shown proof of any one of the following requirements for each teacher:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript)

Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience (written proof of contacting the previous employer)

Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.)

Bob Jones Curriculum provides a comprehensive and rigorous educational experience that prepares students for success in college and beyond. It offers courses ranging from the basics of English, Math, Science to advanced topics such as SAT preparation
